With nearly 50 years of experience in the insurance industry, Darryl is our resident wise owl. He joined the FCIS team as an agent when we acquired DMK Insurance Services, the company Darryl founded in 2003. Now we, and our clients, benefit from the tremendous wealth of knowledge he has accumulated over his long and eventful career.
Darryl started in the insurance industry in 1973 as a life insurance agent for Prudential. He worked there until 1992, and then became an independent broker selling property and casualty, life, and group health insurance. In 1994, he joined Crump Insurance Services, and then from 1998 to 2002, he was a full-time broker for Stanton & Associates. In 2003, he started his own agency, DMK Insurance Services, which specialized in property and casualty insurance as well as life and health insurance.

• Darryl likes to spend his free time golfing.
• When he’s not at work or on the golf course, you can find Darryl fishing in the Sierras or traveling.
• Darryl has been married for 52 years and has two daughters, one of whom has worked with him since 2005 and is now an account manager here at FCIS.
